Woodbury Heights Family

As we welcome the month of May, I want to express how proud I am of the progress our students have made. We are entering the final stretch of the school year, and it is important that we finish strong by maintaining focus, good attendance, and positive habits. These last few weeks are a wonderful opportunity for students to showcase all they have learned and to celebrate their growth together.

This month, our students will participate in NJSLA testing. To help ensure a smooth testing experience, please make sure your child comes to school with their Chromebook fully charged each day. Additionally, students will need wired headphones for the testing sessions.

Thank you for your continued partnership and support in making this a successful and positive finish to the school year!

NJSLA Testing

This spring, students will participate in the NJSLA assessments—a chance for them to show what they’ve learned in reading, writing, and math. The results help us celebrate growth, fine-tune instruction, and make sure we’re meeting each learner’s needs. We keep the environment calm and supportive, with plenty of encouragement, brain breaks, and routines students already know.

You can help by ensuring your child gets a good night’s sleep, eats a healthy breakfast, and arrives on time. Please send in wired headphones (not Bluetooth) and make sure Chromebooks are fully charged each day of testing; bringing the charger is helpful too. A water bottle and a light sweater are also great to have.
